Shipping policy

How long will my blanket take?
Every blanket is made to order, so yours is woven once you place your order. Most orders arrive within 10–15 business days.

Here's how that time adds up:
Proof: for personalized blankets, I send you a proof within 48 hours, and production starts once you approve it.
Production: 3–5 business days.
Shipping: 5–8 business days.

Business days are Monday to Friday, not counting US holidays.

What shipping costs
Continental US: free on every order.
Alaska, Hawaii and US territories: $9.

Need it sooner?
Write to me at hello@bythenook.com before you order and I'll set up faster shipping: expedited (3–5 business days, $24) or overnight (1–3 business days, $60). Faster shipping shortens the time in transit. The proof and production time stay the same, so it helps to reach out early.

International orders
I ship within the United States. If you're outside the US and have your heart set on a blanket, message me and let's see if we can make it work. International orders take longer, I can't guarantee delivery times once a package leaves the US, and customs or import fees are set by your country.

Once your blanket ships
You'll get an email with your tracking number so you can follow along. I keep an eye on every order, and if something looks off, I'll reach out first. If your blanket doesn't arrive, let me know and we'll figure it out together.

Sending it as a gift
Ship it straight to them. By The Nook orders arrive without a receipt or a price on the packing slip.
